Cubiks is interested in collaborating with post-graduate students who are seeking to undertake psychometric research studies, for example for MSc or PhD projects.
We would be interested potentially in research projects using Cubiks' assessment tools, such as PAPI™ or the Reasoning for Business™ ability tests. The three research areas listed below are of particular interest.
Construct validity research
Research studies relating Cubiks' assessment tools to other similar assessment measures, looking at:
- PAPI and other well-established personality measures
- Reasoning for Business and other established reasoning ability tests.
Criterion-related validity research
Research studies relating Cubiks' assessment tools to specific criteria of work performance, such as:
- Supervisor ratings of performance - ratings of job performance based on specific competencies or appraisal scores
- Performance data eg. sales figures and other objective, quantitative measures of work performance.
Equivalence of administration formats/reliability issues
Research investigating the effect of different administration methods, in particular on-line Internet-based administration compared to traditional paper and pencil administration.
Additionally, we are also interested in further research to assess the test-retest reliability of different administration formats, particularly on-line assessment.
